The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), the principal trade association for the software and digital content industries has presented Bonita Open Solution with a 2013 CODiE Award for Best Open Source Innovation. Mac MacConnell, BonitaSoft's VP Marketing, was at the SIIA’s annual All About the Cloud conference and accepted the award during a special awards presentation. The CODiE Awards, originally called the Excellence in Software Awards, were established in 1986 by the Software Publishers Association (SPA), now SIIA. They allowed the pioneers of the then-nascent software industry to evaluate and honor each other’s work. Since 1986, the CODiE Awards program has recognized more than 1,000 companies for achieving greatness in the software and information industries. All of the business software nominated products and services were first reviewed by third-party judges, whose evaluations determined 100 finalists. SIIA members then reviewed these finalists and voted to select a total of 27 CODiE Awards Winners.

The 8th annual All About the Cloud conference was held in San Francisco from 7-9 May 2013. Organized by the SIIA, All About The Cloud is considered to be  one of the most wide-ranging ISV conferences on cloud computing. 3 days of speakers and workshops addressed enterprise cloud to the social enterprise, mobility, security and compliance, true multi-tenancy, platforms and infrastructure, integration and virtualization. The CODiE Award winners were announced during a special awards lunch on May 9, during the official close to AATC 2013.Congratulations to all award winners - we're proud to be in such good company.
